“Montmartre” is one of the most astonishing areas of Paris having retained its village charm at the heart of the capital, with its numerous paved alley ways, distinctive stairways and rich cultural heritage bearing witness to 2000 years of history.
Famous all over the world for its basilica, its ‘place du tertre’, its artists and its stunning views across Paris, Montmartre has many sites of interest (see the montmartre guide book). With four museums, a ‘dotto’ train, numerous galleries, theatres and cabarets such as the ‘Moulin Rouge’, the ‘lapin agile’ or ‘chez ma Cousine’, the creative, bohemian and party spirit which characterizes this area has been easily kept alive, together with all its charm and history. Montmartre is a magical name conjuring up images of a marvellous artist village topped by the basilica of the Sacré-coeur, a place where so many famous painters, poets and singers have left their mark: Picasso, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, Utrillo, Van Gogh…
We suggest you discovering the privileged site of the vineyards of Montmartre, opened exceptionally for you, as well as the museum of Montmartre for a conducted tour. This visit will be followed by a tasting of the wine “Le clos Montmartre” in the magnificent gardens of the hotel Demarne, closed to the public and adjacent to the Museum of Montmartre.
Price per person: 52 € including VAT (based on 25 persons minimum)

At the time of Louis XIV, Versailles was not just the capital of France, for it was also a town which was a great deal larger than it is today. The royal family and the Court resided here along with numerous traders and artisans, and it was during the period that the center of France revolved around its Sun King. It is for this reason that the château is so immense as it was necessary to provide accommodation for everyone, welcome them, support them and feed them. The visit to the Royal Apartments retraces these sumptuous period in the history of France. The Hall of Mirrors, famous for the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, was used for larger receptions during which Louis XIV would want to impress his guest. The visit of the château will end a visit to Marie-Antoinette’s private apartments.
