Venue and Dates

The 10th World Congress on Inflammation will be held from Saturday 25 to Wednesday 29 June 2011.
The Congress will take place at the Palais des Congrès (Paris Convention Centre) which is ideally located in the western part of the Capital, only 10 minutes away from the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe or the Eiffel Tower.
It is easily accessible by car (Parking Porte Maillot under the Convention Centre), by local city bus (), by metro (line 1) or by RER (Paris Suburban Express Metropolitan Network, line C).
Therefore, there is no need for a shuttle bus service organised by the Congress from the official congress hotels to the Convention Centre.

Badges

Upon registration, an electronic badge confirmation will be sent to you containing a bar code. Do not forget to print this page and bring it with you to the congress. You will have to scan the bar code and your badge will be printed automatically.

Climate and clothing

The weather in Paris in June is usually warm and sunny with daily temperatures ranging from 20°C to 24°. Night temperatures are usually mild.

CME credits

Continuing Medical Education credits will be offered by Medical Academies and Scientific.
Societies from all over the world. Participants may register for CME credits. More Information will be available on the Congress website in due time.

Electricity

Electricity used in France is 220 Volts; its frequency is 50 Hz and the plugs have two male contact points. Plan to bring a transformer for your electrical or electronic equipment using different voltage.

Exhibition and Sponsorship

A scientific and technical exhibition open to pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers of materials and equipment, and scientific publishers, will be held during the entire congress.

The GREMI and MCI cannot be held liable for any hindrance or disruption of Congress proceedings arising from political, social, health or economic events or any other unforeseen incidents beyond their control. The congress cancellation conditions shall apply in any case. Registration of a participant entails acceptance of the cancellation conditions. It is recommended that participants obtain adequate cover for travel, health, accident and cancellation insurance before they depart from their countries. The GREMI and MCI as organizers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to congress participants
and accompanying persons either during or as a result of the Congress or during all tours and events.

Lunches & Break

Lunches are NOT included in the registration fees but sandwiches and snacks can be purchased at all times.
During morning and afternoon breaks, coffee will be served in the exhibition area.
