Dear Friends, Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the GREMI, and in collaboration with the International Association of Inflammation Societies, I am pleased to announce that, following the Tokyo congress, the forthcoming 10th World Congress on Inflammation will be held in Paris from the 25th to the 29th of June 2011. Therefore, I would like to take the present opportunity to invite you to join us for that meeting.
We are living a very exciting scientific period, with considerable advances in the field of inflammation. Recent genetic, immunological, biochemical and microbiological breakthroughs have allowed new insights into the pathophysiology of inflammatory disorders. However, there is a constant need not only to keep abreast of and develop new scientific approaches but also to identify adequate and effective clinical strategies for the treatment of chronic inflammation.
With the Local Organizing and Scientific Committees, our aim is to build an ambitious and unique program focused on basic science, applied biology, and clinical research, where state of the art views of the recent advances in inflammation would be fostered. During this 4 days congress, we will bring together scientific and clinical leaders from all over the world, as well as young scientists and newcomers to the field of inflammation, in order to lead lively and interactive debates. The congress will take place in the modern convention center “Le Palais des Congrès” strategically located near “Les Champs Elysées” in the heart of Paris.
In addition to an exciting scientific program, you will benefit from the wonderful early summer, June being the nicest season in Paris. Moreover, the cultural background and historical landscape that make of Paris one of the most attractive cities in Europe, should contribute towards making this event an unforgettable moment.
